Xi'an CAS Microstar Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. was established in August 2017 by the Xi'an Institute of Optical Precision Machinery of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and industry experts. The company is currently part of Xi'an MicroMach Technology co.
With a professional R&D and technical service team, the company has been committed to the field of digital light field modulation.The Company has been deeply engaged in the field of digital light field modulation for many years. Through continuous investment in R&D, the Company has developed a series of nationally produced spatial light modulators with superior performance, some of which exceed the performance of competitive products from abroad. Xi'an CAS Microstar Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd.'s testing center was established on October 10, 2019, and passed the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) certification in 2021. The third-party testing organizations issue test reports with CNAS logo to the outside world, and the test data has authority and credibility. We also have a thousand-level clean room, perfect testing equipment and space light modulator test platform, in accordance with corporate standards for strict factory testing.

Development History
In 2012, the core team is based on digital light field modulation. Carry out the development of spatial light modulator, successfully developed modulator principle prototype.
In 2015, exploring the new field of aerospace simulation and testing, with the spatial light modulator as the core for the development of the splicing module of the simulator products, successfully developed the principle prototype of the simulator.
In 2017, based on the spatial light modulator product line, MSI was formally established, the simulator product series dynamic static star simulator product development; completed the delivery of China's first domestic high refresh frequency simulator products, based on the new field of spatial light modulator products multi-functional teaching instruments successfully developed.
In 2018, the multifunctional teaching instrument product upgrading, completed China's first domestic high-resolution simulator development, China's domestic demand for similar simulator products unit successfully promoted.
In 2019, China's first domestic dynamic simulator with high environmental adaptability will be delivered, a comprehensive test system for thermal vacuum guest roofs will be developed with the simulator as the main component, dozens of spatial light modulator products of two series of transmissive reflective will be developed, and the laser processing head with the spatial light modulator as the core component will be successfully developed.
In 2020, the core component of the spatial light modulator, liquid crystal light valve, will be successfully developed, and the vertical field of simulation and testing will be opened up - the delivery of Internet high-environmental adaptability lenses.
In 2021, rapid promotion and application of existing products, development of ultra-high-speed dynamic simulator, and expansion of the industrial testing field of spatial light modulator.
In 2022, 2K color spatial light modulator to achieve mass production, high-resolution large target surface spatial light modulator for small batch trial production, optical tweezers, atmospheric turbulence and other system prototypes completed.
In 2023, DMD frame frequency splicing technology will be overcome, major breakthroughs will be made in light utilization rate and damage winking value index enhancement, and modular systems such as atmospheric turbulence, scattering imaging and color holography will be finalized.

Xi'an CAS Microstar Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. has more than 80 employees, with more than 25% of them holding Master's Degrees or Doctoral Degrees. We have participated in the project of “Phase-type Liquid Crystal Spatial Light Modulator” in the key special project of “Basic Research Conditions and Major Scientific Instruments and Equipment Research and Development” under the National Key R&D Program of the Decade of China, and the project of “Optical Integration and Photonics” under the “Two Chains” Integration Program of Shaanxi Province, which is the most important project of the National Key R&D Program of China. In the “Two Chains” Integration “Pioneer Special Project of Optical Item Integration and Optical Item Manufacturing Industry” of Shaanxi Province, the project “Performance Enhancement of Ultra-High-Resolution Digital Optical Modulation Devices for Unmasked Lithography” was undertaken. The company has also participated in the project “Technological Breakthrough in Industrialization of Hundredth of a Second Lasers and Modulators”, which is part of the “Special Project for the Industrialization of High-Resolution Digital Optical Modulation Devices for Unmasked Lithography”. The company has applied for 92 patents, including 53 invention patents, and 52 patents have been authorized, and 3 enterprise standards have been formulated and made public.
